If you receive a photo or PDF with a QR code via an email, messages app, or via other chat apps, take its screenshot for it to appear in the Photos app. Then, use the following methods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-method-1-using-the-photos-app-iphone\">Method 1: Using the Photos App (iPhone)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 1:<\/strong> Open the <strong>photo<\/strong> or the screenshot having the QR code in the Photos app.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 2<\/strong>: Long-press on the <strong>QR code<\/strong>. The steps are similar to those shown in the Android method below.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you prefer using shortcuts, try the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.icloud.com\/shortcuts\/5a32c2d125174ceab8abec58607c6961\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">QR Reader from Images shortcut<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-method-2-using-google-lens-android\">Method 2: Using Google Lens (Android)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Google Lens is a service that can find similar images, scan QR codes, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.guidingtech.com\/use-google-lens-to-copy-text-from-image\/\">copy text from images<\/a>, and much more. It can be accessed in the following ways:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-way-1-from-google-app\">Way 1: From Google App<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Open the pre-installed <strong>Google app<\/strong> and tap on the <strong>Camera (Lens) icon<\/strong> in the search bar. Simply tap the Lens icon and select the image with the QR code. Then, tap the QR code.
